Terms of Use

Effective from 1 October 2026.

1. About these terms

1.1These terms apply when you use Great Native, a native advertising platform operated by Adlounge AB, Swedish company registration number 556791-4063, Torkhusgatan 9, 120 65 Stockholm, Sweden ("Great Native", "we", "us").

1.2The terms apply to advertisers, agencies and publishers ("you"). By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms on behalf of the company or person you represent.

1.3The service is intended for businesses and for individuals who run their own website or app. You must be at least 18 years old.

1.4If you and Great Native have signed a separate written agreement, that agreement takes precedence over these terms.

2. Definitions

  • Advertiser: anyone who buys advertising through the service, directly or through an agency.
  • Publisher: anyone who shows ads and content from the service on their website or in their app.
  • Widget: the code or SDK that shows ads and content on the publisher's site.
  • Viewable impression: an impression where, according to Great Native's measurement, the ad was visible on screen under the criteria stated in the service.
  • Invalid traffic: impressions, clicks or conversions that do not come from real, interested people, for example from bots, automated programs, manipulation or clicks someone was paid to make.

3. Account

3.1You must provide accurate and complete information, including your name, company and country, and keep it up to date.

3.2You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your login details secret. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

3.3The country you state determines, among other things, your currency, VAT treatment and available payment methods.

4. Review

4.1We review new publishers' websites and apps. You can install the widget right away, but ads are only shown once the site has been approved.

4.2All ads are reviewed before they are shown. We may refuse or remove ads, campaigns, websites and apps that breach these terms, the law or our creative guidelines.

4.3Approval does not mean that we are responsible for the content of ads or of publishers' websites.

5. Terms for advertisers

5.1Ad content. You are responsible for making sure that ads, links and landing pages comply with the law, are accurate and do not infringe anyone else's rights. Ads are labelled as sponsored or as advertising.

5.2Ad suggestions. The service may suggest headlines, copy and images based on your website and translate them automatically. You are responsible for reviewing and approving the content before the campaign starts.

5.3Budget. You choose the total budget, period and daily cap. We never charge more than the budget you have chosen. Cost is calculated per viewable impression (CPM) or per click (CPC), as stated for the campaign.

5.4Measurement. Impressions, clicks and cost are counted according to Great Native's measurement, after invalid traffic has been filtered out. If you connect your own tracking, it is used to optimise the campaign but not to calculate cost.

5.5Payment. Payment is made in advance by card or PayPal, or by invoice for companies we have approved for invoicing. The payment terms that apply to you are shown in the service. Invoices are payable within 30 days unless otherwise agreed. If payment is late, we may pause campaigns and charge late-payment interest under the Swedish Interest Act (räntelagen).

5.6Currency and VAT. Prices are stated in the currency that applies to your country. Swedish VAT is added for customers in Sweden. For businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT registration number, the reverse charge applies. No Swedish VAT is charged to customers outside the EU.

5.7Test credit. If we offer a test credit, it applies only to your first campaign, cannot be exchanged for cash and expires as stated in the offer.

5.8No promised results. We do not promise any particular number of impressions, clicks or conversions, or any particular return. Results depend on, among other things, your offer, your ad content, your landing page and available traffic. During a learning phase at the start of a campaign, ads and placements are tested.

5.9Pausing and ending. You can pause or end a campaign at any time. You pay for what has been delivered up to that point. Unused prepayment can be used for later campaigns or refunded on request, less any fees from the payment provider.

5.10Agencies. An agency that manages campaigns on behalf of clients is responsible for having the right to do so and for payment, unless otherwise agreed.

6. Terms for publishers

6.1Website and content. You must own or have the right to control the website or app. It must not contain illegal content, hate, violence, pornography, pirated material or anything else that in our judgement harms advertisers.

6.2Installation. The widget must be installed according to our instructions. You may not modify the code, hide ads, place them in a misleading way or show them on websites that are not approved for your account.

6.3Control over ads. You can exclude categories, require approval of new advertisers and mix in your own content, using the settings available in the service.

6.4Visitor consent. You are responsible for informing visitors to your website about the widget and, where the law requires it, obtaining consent through your consent management solution. We recommend linking to Great Native's privacy policy.

6.5Earnings. You receive the share of revenue for valid impressions and clicks on your site that is stated in the service. Earnings count from the first day ads are shown. After a test period, an estimate based on data from your site is shown. We do not promise any particular level of earnings; they depend on, among other things, your traffic, your placements and which advertisers match your site.

6.6Self-billing. You and Great Native agree that Great Native issues the invoice for your earnings on your behalf (self-billing). You must not issue your own invoice for the same earnings. You must provide correct VAT registration details and tell us about changes immediately. A self-billing invoice is deemed accepted unless you object within 30 days of it being made available. VAT is handled as described in section 5.6, applying the corresponding rules for the publisher's country.

6.7Payouts. Payouts are made on the 25th of the month following the month in which your earnings reached the payout threshold for your currency (for example SEK 500 or EUR 50). Amounts below the threshold are carried over to the next month. Payouts are made to the payment method you have provided. You bear any fees charged by your bank or payment provider.

6.8Tax. You are responsible for reporting and paying tax on your earnings in your own country.

7. Invalid traffic and fraud

7.1It is prohibited to generate or buy invalid traffic, to click on your own ads, to encourage visitors to click and to influence measurement in any other way.

7.2We filter traffic automatically and manually. Invalid traffic generates no earnings for the publisher and is not charged to the advertiser. If invalid traffic is detected after a payout or charge, we may set off or credit the amount.

7.3If we suspect fraud, we may withhold payouts while we investigate and suspend the account.

8. Rights

8.1You keep the rights to your content and ad material. You grant Great Native a non-exclusive right to store, adapt, translate and display it to the extent needed for the service.

8.2Great Native keeps all rights to the platform, the widget, the measurement and the statistics. You may use them for as long as your account is active.

8.3We may use aggregated and anonymised statistics to improve the service.

9. Confidentiality and personal data

9.1Neither party may disclose the other party's confidential information, such as non-public prices and statistics.

9.2How we process personal data is described in our privacy policy.

10. Liability

10.1The service is provided as is. We work to keep it available but do not promise that it is free from interruptions or errors.

10.2We are not liable for indirect loss, such as loss of profit, loss of revenue or loss of data.

10.3Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you have paid to us, or we have paid out to you, during that period.

10.4These limitations do not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.

10.5You are liable to Great Native for third-party claims arising from your content, your ads or your website.

11. Suspension and termination

11.1You can close your account at any time.

11.2We may terminate the agreement with 30 days' notice. In the event of a serious breach of these terms, we may suspend the account immediately.

11.3On termination, earned revenue is paid out according to section 6.7, unless it derives from invalid traffic. Amounts below the payout threshold are paid out on request.

12. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the service at least 30 days before they take effect. If you continue to use the service after that, you accept the new terms.

13. Language

These terms are available in Swedish and English. If the versions differ, the English version applies.

14. Governing law and disputes

14.1Swedish law applies.

14.2Disputes are settled by the Swedish general courts, with the Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.

14.3If your registered office or domicile is outside Sweden, Great Native may instead choose to have the dispute settled by arbitration under the Rules for Expedited Arbitrations of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC). The seat of arbitration is Stockholm and the proceedings are conducted in English, unless the parties agree otherwise.

14.4Section 14.3 does not apply if you are a consumer and mandatory law gives you the right to go to court.
